My i7 4790K have 1.84v core voltage at idle according to CPUID without any overclock, is this normal?

As the title suggested CPUID shows that my 4790K has a voltage of 1.84v when idle, and i have not done any overclock to it yet, this is my first time building a PC so im not sure if this is normal or not. I googled around for a bit and i heard people suggest this is pretty high so i wonder if the high voltage of cpu is the cause of my PC to overheat and shut down/reboot sometimes during gaming sessions? Is this some kind of defect?

      Appreciate your helps in advance.
