Please note that the software we have to monitor the RAID structure is Intel® Rapid Storage Technology. This software can be downloaded at this page:
It is important to say that this is generic software and it is extremely important to get the software from your system manufacturer.
Thanks for the information. I downloaded the "Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise" from Supermicro's web site, and installed it despite the warnings that the current drivers were newer. Seems to be working OK now, and I've configured the email notification. It was surprising that the program doesn't permit SMTP authentication but I was able to work around that. Thanks again for your assistance.
I have a Supermicro X10SAE running Server 2008. I am trying to find a tool to manage the Intel(R) C600+/C220+ series chipset SATA RAID Controller. I installed the latest Rapid Storage Technology from Intel's website, and I am not seeing software under the start menu > all programs. CBraxton, could you give me the link from Supermicro's website that you downloaded it? Maybe that will work.
We're are not familiar with type of software since it's provided by a third-party company, I would recommend to contact the Super Micro Support at Super Micro Computer, Inc. Online Support - FAQ Search, so they can help with this matter.
