    Software for monitoring C600 RAID?

    CBraxton

We recently purchased a small server equipped with the Supermicro X10DLR-i board, which is based on an Intel C600 series chipset. Operating system is Windows Server 2012 R2.

The server is using the onboard Intel RAID for mirroring a set of SSDs for the OS plus a pair of mechanical drives for data storage. This is working fine, but there is no monitoring of the RAID arrays for problems. What software do we need to download and install to enable monitoring and email notification of RAID issues? The Windows Device Manager lists the following Intel RAID drivers installed:

Intel C600 Series Chipset SATA RAID Controller 12.0.1.1019

Intel C600+/C220+ Series chipset sSATA RAID Controller 4.1.0.1046

We tried installing what appeared to be the "latest" Rapid Storage Technology package but it complains that the driver currently installed is newer. A link to the appropriate software to download would be greatly appreciated!
