For the Galileo board you would have to use an uclibc i586 toolchain for Yocto 1.4.2 but the ones you mentioned are for glibc for Yocto 1.7.1. You can download Cross Compiler Toolchain for Galileo from this site. In case you want to build it yourself I’d suggest you to see section 7 of the BSP guide. I hope this is what you are looking for.

I apologize for the long wait. To build an image without internet you will have to download the packages GPL source files from this site http://www.intel.com/support/edison/sb/CS-035180.htm. These are the packages that are downloaded during the building process and are stored in the cache folder. You need to modify the recipe files so they don’t fetch the files from the github but instead of a folder location. If you open some recipes that fetch the file from a location in the computer you can see that it has the following structure:
SRC_URI = “ file// \
I believe you need to do this for every package, I’ll try to test this. I let you know if I’m able to build it without internet access.

Actually i am trying to do this for adding gdbserver in the linux image as i want to do remote debugging of application via ethernet via gdb debugger.
i have wasted lot of time on building image but his is not happening.
It will be great if you can provide image for galileo board gen 1 with gdbserver enabled.
