                Hi Sachin,

Yesterday, I faced the same issue and fixed it.

Issue is "tar: --same-order option cannot be used with -c"

This is the issue with the tar version 1.27, so downgrade it to tar 1.26.

I downloaded the debian file "tar_1.26-4ubuntu1_i386.deb" from http://packages.ubuntu.com/precise/tar (Architecture i386)

                cd /home/hcl/Downloads

                sudo dpkg -i tar_1.26-4ubuntu1_i386.deb

The problem was resolved after downgrading the tar...

Try it and let me know if your problem solves...

                Thanks

                Sumit

what error did you get? I just followed exactly SUMIT_KR_AGRAWAL has stated and it worked for me. And was able to downgrade the tar version.
