I am not from Intel, but I believe that you may be helped by learning about a NUC feature called Power Button Menu described on page 55 of the spect. Starting with the system powered off, you hold down the power button for a very specific time around 3-4 seconds, no longer and no shorter. It has been described as:
- Press and hold down the power button (approximately 3 seconds). The system emits three short beeps from the PC speaker. You can plug headphones into the rear panel audio jack, if available on your Intel NUC, to hear the beeps.
- After the beeps, release the power button before the 4-second shutdown override.
If it works, then you should see a text menu that has an option such as F2
Swinzon, I experienced that issue a few weeks ago, after enabling “Fast Boot” in BIOS.
Please follow these steps in order to access the BIOS again:
- Turn on the NUC.
- Once it is on, please unplug it directly from the AC power.
- Plug it in again and you will be able to press F2 to access BIOS and make the necessary chances.
Do not forget to disable “Fast Boot” once you are in BIOS.
