Hello. I have a 4790k and 16 Gb of Corsair 1866 MHz Ram. Under the specifications, the 4790k can run at 1600MHz on 1.5 volts.
I enabled my 4790k to have my ram run at 1600MHz using the XMP profile on 1.5 volts in my bios.
Did I void my cpu's warranty? - I haven't over clocked it or messed with any of the voltages, it was the XMP profile that my COU/Mobo recommended for me.
