How to set up cross compiling for Intel Edison on Windows?

    FKNoble

      Hi everyone,

I recently received an Intel Edison and I'm in the process of getting it working. Currently I've got it so that it can ping the internet, i.e. I've followed the instructions to get it flashed etc, but now I want to configure my Windows PC to be able to cross compile C/C++ to run on the Edison. I've had a look through what instructions are available; however, most are for the Linux OS.

Does anyone have any guides for setting up the SDK on Windows? I've already downloaded the Edison SDK for Windows 64 from the following site:Edison - Software Downloads, but I'm not sure how to use it in conjunction with Eclipse. If someone can help me get it working, I'll write up a tutorial for others to refer to.

      Best regards,

      Frazer
