What is the number of threads per core

Greetings,

http://ark.intel.com/products/53464/Intel-Core-i7-2640M-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_50-GHz http://ark.intel.com/products/53464/Intel-Core-i7-2640M-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_50-GHz

In the above sandybridge processor i see that Number of cores is 2 and number of threads is 4

Is this 4 threads per core or 2 threads in core1 and 2 threads in core 2?
