I'm trying to connect an Edison to a quad-copter with pixhawk, and have it algorithmically determine a path to take based on some input.
To do this, I'll need something like Mission Planner or APM planner running on the Edison, but able to select its path based on input from, say, a WiFi signal.
I was going to modify APM planner to run on Edison, but I want to see if there's an easier way before I spend a lot of time trying to understand and modify that code.
Does anyone know of something like this? Any help would be appreciated.
I have never tested APM but I found that they have a platform for Arduino here: Downloads | APM. So I guess it is possible to use it with the Edison, however I you need further guidance I encourage you to post your questions in ardupilot.com - View forum - APM:Copter
