    How can I get a bluetooth connection on the arduino IDE?

    OneQ

      Hello developers.

      I am trying to get a bluetooth connection on the arduino IDE. There are several method using additional devices just like the bluetooth shield and the JY-MCU through serial communication.

      But edison has a bluetooth module. How can I use the function on the arduino IDE?

          Hi OneQ

          Unfortunately, there are not Bluetooth libraries for the IDE, I had searched before and there are some libraries for Arduino Boards and for other shields that haven't been tested with the Edison board yet. You could try to find a library that could work but obviously you will need to do some changes to get it work.

          You could try to create a sketch that interacts with system calls in order to configure the Bluetooth in the board, using the Serial Monitor in the IDE will not work on the first go, you will have to create in the same sketch a way to see what is happening in the board, something like this: Arduino sketch - To create command window?

          Regards;
