No, i haven`t modem. I think that is part of the Intel Managment Engine, but not understand how it happens, that the driver become uninstalled. Sorry in advance, i speak english very bad. It worked, but some day i saw that this device is not installed. I tried to reinstall IME, but it didn't help. Looking for world wide didn`t help. I hope that here i will find help.
Mahazbek, according to the notes provided at the download center, if the Intel® Management Engine (Intel® ME) driver has not been successfully installed, customers may see an error on a "PCI Simple Communications Controller" in Device Manager.
I would recommend you to remove the driver and install it from scratch. Intel® Download Center
Remember that drivers need to be installed in order and we suggest customers to restart the system after the installation of each of them
1. Chipset driver
2. Graphics driver
3. Audio and LAN
4. ME (Management Engine Driver) and USB
Passed a lot of time, and it wasn't succeeded to install this device. Because of it the necessary functions don't work. It was updated to Windows 10, but all the same attempts to install this driver weren't crowned with success. I tried to specify manually, too doesn't help.
UPD: I switched off UEFI Boot in BIOS and all now it works! I don`t know how it connected. But what must i do if i want to use UEFI? Only to select between UEFI and IME?
The DZ77RE-75K - Unknown device PCI controller simple communications usually is because you don’t have install the Intel® ME or it was not install correctly.
