Hi everyone I hope someone can help me. I have an Dell Vostro 3700 laptop with an internal Intel HD graphics adapter installed. The driver is as follows:

Driver Version: 8.15.10.2900

Main Driver: igdumdx32.dll , igdumd32dll

WDDM 1.1

I am looking for a driver update to upgrade to WDDM 1.3 so I have Miracast support. Dell told me to check with Intel to see if there are any driver updates. I am trying to connect to a Microsoft wireless display adapter. I have also read I need NDIS drivers 6.4 I have NDIS 6.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to install other drivers but I get the message" system doesn't meet required measurements" or something to that effect.

Based on the information you provided and the specifications available online, I was able to determine that you have a first generation Intel® Core processor with Intel® HD Graphics, which supports Intel® WiDi software 3.0 for Windows* 7.

Miracast* is only supported in Windows* 8.1 with third generation Intel® Core processors or newer.

It remains to be determined if your system complies with all the http://supportkb.intel.com/wireless/wireless-display/templates/selfservice/intelwidi/# portal/1026/article/2511 Intel® WiDi requirements but I suggest you using the http://supportkb.intel.com/wireless/wireless-display/templates/selfservice/intelwidi/# portal/1026/article/16168 Intel® WiDi Update Tool in Windows* 7.

Thanks joe_intel. I ran the Intel WiDi Update toll and got the following message:

"Installation failed your system has an Intel WiFi adapter that is not supported by the update tool"

"The WiDi update tool does not support the Graphics adapter installed in your system Your platform is not WiDi compatible.

I guess I am out of luck for Miracast. I will just run a long HDMI cable. Thanks for the information
