If you are having problems uploading sketches the problem might be that the Edison memory is full, try doing the flashing guide or if you have access to the linux console, do the command df –h and see how much space you have left.
Yes, those links are exactly what I used. I have been through them (very carefully) a total of 3 times now. Since I have no done anything with the Edison, except try to upload the Blink Arduino example, there should not be any space used up. df -h shows lots of free space available. /home lists 2.2 GB available. I found the issue, but not the solution. I successfully installed the Intel Edison/Arduino, and used Blink, on another computer, one with a pretty austere Windows 7 x64 system on it. The issue I am sure is drivers on my main computer. So I'm pursuing that. Thanks for your help, Steve
