    Edison UVCVIDEO not found on modprobe.

    gravemind

      I bitbaked my Edison following these steps described in this link https://communities.intel.com/message/259625 I enabled UVC drivers as per instruction in that thread. My defconfig file in the folder /home/edison/edison/edison-src/device-software/meta-edison/recipes-kernel/linux/files looks like

      #

      # CONFIG_MEDIA_ANALOG_TV_SUPPORT is not set

      # CONFIG_MEDIA_RADIO_SUPPORT is not set

      CONFIG_MEDIA_USB_SUPPORT=y

      # CONFIG_USB_M5602 is not set

      I rebuilt Edison image using bitbake edison-image

      Flashed my Edison and connected a webcam. Lsusb returns

      dmesg returns

      But ls /dev shows no video* Output of modprobe uvcvideo   modprobe: FATAL: Module uvcvideo not found.

      Does anyone has any idea? I have attached the complete defconfig file.
