Hi , I've just bought an INTEL N2820 , installed Win 8.1 , updated to the latest bios + graphic drivers. It's connected to my tv by a HDMI cable and the tv is connected to my audio surround amplifier by an optical spdif cable
(my amplifier has no hdmi inputs).
My question is : I can't find a way to get 5.1 audio out of N2820, in audio settings I can see only stereo output. Is there a way without buying an external usb / spdif converter? If yes , is there someone who can tell me how?
Ufostraker, this behavior could be related to a compatibility between the NUC and the amplifier. We haven’t tested this product combination.
Just in case the latest graphics driver version available is v3621 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23886 and the latest BIOS is 0045 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24528
