I have an Intel processor.

It is no longer needed.

Does Intel have any suggestions on what to do with their products when they are no longer wanted?

By the end of January, Intel will have a samples return program which you could probably use. If you can wait until then, I'd be glad to get you more information. LynnZ

Also if it is one that you purchased you may want to contact the RMA Center. In which geography are you located? I can then provide you the email address.
