Hatailor, it looks like your laptop comes with a 5 series chipset. The Intel® Rapid Storage Technology version that you would need to install is version 11.7 Intel® Download Center
Additional information on how to use this software could be found at this URL http://download.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/sb/irst_user_guide.pdf
Hello Ms. Sylvia and other community members,
A year ago I tried to replace the drive of an older Toshiba M500 computer, windows 7. The cloned drive does not do windows updates. You advised me to install the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (RAID) driver version 220.127.116.113.
I did, but I still have the same problem.
I read in the file the instructions below. But what are the RAID BIOS configurations? Do I find these in the bios of the computer? And what do I change?
I will appreciate the help.
This driver supports RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. The driver should be installed after the operating system has been installed. F6 and RAID BIOS configurations need to be performed prior to installation of this driver for proper operation.
