If there is no Edison labeled disk driver mounted in Windows Computer interface how can I recover this Edison?

      Hi,

I made a serious mistake: fdisk and formatted my Edison board. Now I cannot see the Edison Serial port device in the windows device manager. And there is neither an automatic mount Edison disk driver in Windows Computer interface. So I cannot follow the official recovery steps to flash the recovery image to the Edison.

I installed the Phone Flash Tool to flash the edison-image-ww45-14.zip. From the Phone Flash info, it seems successful. Now I can see the “Intel Soc USB Driver” and “Intel Edison DFU Interface” in the Windows Device Manager. But still no Edison labeled disk driver mounted in Windows.

So my question is: If there no Edison labeled disk driver mounted in Windows Computer interface how can I recover this Edison?

Thank you for your help and patience.
