Thanks, buu my host OS is win7, how can i enable its usb-internet interface?
From the principle it remains the same: you also need to configure the Windows host as packet forwarder (= router) and properly set up the USB network connection. But it could be that some additional USB networking driver is needed before doing that. Maybe a Windows user could answer that.
Step 1: run "ifconfig" command @ edison shell side ( putty ), and record usb0's ip address，e.g. 192.168.2.15
Step 2: set windows 7 , "control panel" -> "Network and share Center" -> Set local link IPv4 address to "192.168.2.XX"
Step 3: lanuch windows 7 command line, ping 192.168.2.15 .......
All things like ethernet now.
