The Packages files in the subdirectories are read, and that is where the problem is:
root@quark:~# opkg update
Updated list of available packages in /var/lib/opkg/iotdk-all.
Updated list of available packages in /var/lib/opkg/iotdk-i586.
Updated list of available packages in /var/lib/opkg/iotdk-quark.
Updated list of available packages in /var/lib/opkg/iotdk-x86.
Updated list of available packags in /var/lib/opkg/mraa-upm..
root@quark:~# opkg install nfs-utils-doc
Unknown package 'nfs-utils-doc'.
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package nfs-utils-doc.
but in fact nfs-utils-doc does exist in
but is not listed in the
file and so is not found by opkg. In some case it is possible to give the full URL to download, for example
but in general this does not work and dependencies are not found.
ok, possibly - and maybe my solution is not perfect. But could you try like I do: adding following to your opkg *.conf file
src iot-devkit-i586 http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/1.1/iotdk/i586
src iot-devkit-all http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/1.1/iotdk/all
src iot-devkit-quark http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/1.1/iotdk/quark
src iot-devkit-x86 http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/1.1/iotdk/x86
I'm facing same problem installing python-opencv. ('opkg install python-opencv' says, Unknown package 'python-opencv'.) <- This is my procedure & progress
I looked up if the Packages downloaded form http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/1.1/iotdk/i586/Packages. contains python-opencv. It did.
So, I manually tried installing all dependencies listed for python-opencv in the doc.
opkg install libopencv-objdetect2.4 libopencv-legacy2.4 libopencv-highgui2.4 libopencv-photo2.4 libstdc++6 python-numpy libopencv-video2.4 libopencv-features2d2.4 python-core libopencv-nonfree2.4 libopencv-core2.4 libc6 libopencv-flann2.4 libopencv-contrib2.4 libopencv-calib3d2.4 libopencv-imgproc2.4 libopencv-ml2.4
Any suggestions ?
