The BLE isn't full supported yet, however you might find interesting these following posts where an user could connect a BLE device with the Edison. I hope you find them helpful:
Thank you for all the resources.
I have a problem with hcitool lecc and cc when I use it I get no feedback, I asume it connected. When imediatly after I run hcitool rssi I get response of 0 and if I run it again it is not connected. It seems to disconnect almost immediately it doesn't mater if I use lecc or cc.
My /etc/version says "edison-rel1-maint-weekly_build_16_2014-10-14_14-56-19", configure_edison --upgrade says I have the latest version!
Thanks again for the help
has anyone figure out how the ble on the edison can be connected to other devices with python ?
I would like to this so that I can receive some acell data to then automatically process it in python.
I can transfer data and log using nodejs but processing on nodejs is not like python. Or is there a way to pass the acell data from nodejs to a python program in realtime as the bluetooth data is being received?
