The Edison Native Application Guide (NAG) can be found here:
Don't know why this is hidden and not displayed in the regular documentation folder...
That instruction means that you need a specific procedure to install the native SDK that you want, take a look of this link and go to the "Building Linux Image" section, I think it will help you.
Both information are very helpful. Many thanks to all of you.
Currently the NAG is being reviewed and it will be made public once we are done reviewing it.
Please please include a compilable "pedometer" project. I mean the full source and not the narration "how to put stuff together".
where can i find NAG file? i can't get it from the link above refer to. thanks ~~
This link seems broken. I'm not able to get to the document.

thank for your help ~ and there are something new for me ,pls help me .. i config the Eclipse (Lua/Kepler/Mars) step by step according to paper said.and ,when i try to create a new project, something wrong ~ like the following :
java.lang.InterruptedException: New Project failure: Yocto Wizard Configuration Error:
Specified Toolchain Root Location is empty.
You need specify Toolchain Root Location before building any project.
Do IDE-wide settings from Window > Preferences > Yocto Project ADT
Or do Project-wide settings from Project > Change Yocto Project Settings.
I had check the configuration again and again ,but Toolchain Root Location is empty ,it seems "Apply" Button doesn't works~~ !
PS: i had restart the Eclipse after finishing the configuraiton procedure...
What is the full path you are providing in the toolchain and sysroot locations?
This should be the full path to the location where you installed the SDK which the default for a Linux install is:
the path is where the toolchain and sys root actually located, like this "/Users/forever/Desktop/StudyFolder/Edison_SDK/poky-edison-eglibc-i386-edison-image-core2-32-toolchain-1.6/sysroots",is there anything wrong?
thanks for your kindness~
and there is another confusing me . the SDK package i downloaded from the Intel ,named "edison-sdk-macosx-weekly-68.zip",after uzip
it ,there isn't script like "poky-edison-eglibc-i686-edison-image-core2-32-toolchain-1.6.sh" the NAG refer to. i notice that a Python script is here ,named "relocate_sdk.py",i try to run it from the terminal, and there is nothing happened~ GOD HELP ME ~~~
