It's great to use openSUSE on Galileo. Thank you.
Can we use this OS to control GPIO 16~63 on Galileo Gen2?
I try to enable the GPIO 16~63, but get the message below:
linux:~ # echo -n "16" > /sys/class/gpio/export
-bash: echo: write error: No such device
linux:~ # cat /sys/kernel/debug/gpio

How can I set it up on Galileo Gen2? Thank you.
- An (experimental) 3.17.2 kernel for Galileo
cool! What have you tested so far? Any (sporadic) issues?
Hey, i don't have a clue about GPIO on GEN2 (i only have a Gen1), for me GPIOs 16-55 use cy8c9540a maybe you can try to load that kernel module. Anyway i'll try to find out what is going on there (may take a wile)!
Tested so far:
- Basic system ( ;-) )
- USB Host port
- and today i peeked a bit at the state of the GPIO's
Have yet to see my first oops of panic with this kernel , so no it "feels" stable for what i'm doing with it...
