Update to my problem
I disabled the IR on the NUC, plugged in the Pinnacle USB remote sensor. Drivers where installed, but the same issue are still there.
Still no function on the STOP button on the remote.
So, you get the same result from the integrated IR as well as the external IR sensor?
What are the models of remote controls you are using? Perhaps another community member has used the same model.
Yes its the same result. STOP does'nt work.
I have 3 remotes I have tried with, and all of them works with my old HP Laptop
My remotes are
from Linksys DMA2200 Media center extender
Another is Microsofts Media Center remote for XBOX 360
And the last one is Logitech Harmony 650 with the device settings loaded as Intel Media Player
And I tried Media center and the remotes on My Tower computer (ASUS Rampage III motherboard) It works there to.
So my conclusion is that there are something with my NUC, preventing the STOP to work.
I can try it on more computers but it seems to be a waste of time, as they probobly also will work.
We have tested the model TSHD-IR02 (PRCHD19GIR02-0). I have personally tested the Microsoft RC6 Remote Control in Windows* 8.1 and the stop button works.
Let’s see if other members have any feedback about the other remote control models you have been using.
I found out what the problem was.
If GoogleChrome are Active, then it doesnt work, and also that Icon in the tray that keeps Chrome Active in the background does also interfear with the IR Communication.
So the solution was to turn of Google Chrome. I have no idea why Chrome interfears with this.
