I've just bought this PC second hand and it has a fresh Win 7 Home Premium OS on it. However I noticed it didn't run Aero. When I looked closer it was because the graphics adapter was just Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. So I tried to update it with the latest drivers, but when I reboot it crashes shortly after the initial splash screen.
I have the DQ77CP board, an i5 3470 CPU. I'm sure this has the HD2500 integrated graphics on it and that's what I've tried updating it with - even using Intel's own driver update utility.
What can I do to install the correct graphics drivers so it doesn't crash? Thanks.

Here is the bootlog having updated the driver. So you get the black splash screen with the swirling windows in the middle then after a few more seconds before it gets to the blue boot up sequence it just stops and reboots.

I ran sfc to see if that brought up anything:

Did you try installing the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23061 Intel® Chipset Device Software and https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=22093 Intel® Management Engine Driver?
What type of video cable are you using? Is it possible to try a different one?

yes installed those drivers first and rebooted, all ok, then installed graphics driver and it crashes. Not sure about cable as it's an all-in-one PC so haven't opened the case. Suspect it is DVI though as when restarting you briefly get message 'DVI no signal'.

Try checking in BIOS if everything is ok, you can check if there is a discrete graphics card installed by any chance or reset the BIOS settings back to default.

Also consider updating the System BIOS to the latest version found here:
