sorry for being not precisely. I get the three-times blink code if memory is NOT installed. In this case the board does not turn off. But when I insert the memory, it shows the behaviour described above. Then it even does not matter if it is a 1.35V SODIMM or a 1.5V one.
Thank you for the link, but unfortunately in my case I even do not get into any BIOS screen, because the system simply turns off. So I cannot change any configuration then. Without memory inserted the screen stays dark.
What happens if you use a single memory stick?
I already use only one memory stick. I just got the chance to test another NUC, the D54250. Everything ok there. Seems the board is dead. I will return it.
