    XDK Edison can't connect

    Terrence_

I have the latest image as of today 10/29/2014

I can connect to my Edison via port 9, I can ping it a 192.168.1.77, but XDK can't connect on port 58888.

I get a connection refused message.

I have bonjour printer wizard installed, but it doesn't see anything.

      What else can I do?

          have you started the daemons?

          systemctl enable xdk-daemon
          systemctl restart xdk-daemon

            Hi Terrence_,

Take a look to this thread, I believe you can find it useful: Intel XDK IoT Edition + Edison

            Regards,

            Diego.

Fab, yes, I failed to mention that.  I have done those commands and Diego, I read that thread.

              Thank you.  Any other ideas?

I have changed the IP address of the board "Intel Edison USB RNDIS device" to 192.168.1.77 to be on the same network as my computer is.

Note the Edison is still reporting 192.168.2.15 even after a reboot.

In XDK when I try an manually add the board with the ip address, I get the same connection refused message

Have you "xdk-whitelist"ed your hosts IP on the target?
