Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H
Chipset: Intel B75
OS: Windows 7 64bit
Using Windows standard AHCI driver. When I eject a drive and plug in a new one it does not recognise this until I manually run Scan for Hardware Changes.
Can you suggest a driver that would enable auto scan for hardware changes?
Macnab69, from our side I would recommend you to check if you are using the latest drivers available for your Gigabyte motherboard. Also make sure the board has the latest BIOS version released by the system manufacture.
All the drivers are up to date.
The point is Windows is using its own AHCI driver. This doesn't do Scan for Hardware changes after an eject automatically.
I am looking for one that does. But I found it in the CD, It might be old but I can update it.
Thanks for letting me know.
