    HDMI turning off DN2820FYKH

      Hey guys,

      I've got a couple of media centres and my sky box plugged into a 5 way HDMI switch. All work fine except for the intel NUC DN2820FYKH.

      As soon as I switch away to another input device and switch back, it won't pick it up the signal again. The other windows 8.1 PC (for games) does not have this issue and neither does the sky box.

      Does anyone have any ideas?

      Thanks,

      Max

          I have a similar issue via a 5-way switch;

          I loose the connection if I reboot the NUC, and the NUC isn't selected on the hdmi-switch.

          However I am able to switch between devices... until I reboot.

          From a thread I read on the forums earlier, I believe an Intel rep suggested using an "active" switch.  What I'm using now is a "passive" switch.  From what I understand, the "active" switch would keep the HDMI communication open with the NUC, and not become upset by loosing attention.

            Thank you for your reply. I've been looking around and cant seem to tell which ones are active or passive?
