You may want to install the latest Intel® Smart Connect Technology software version 5.0 as indicated in the guide linked below.
I was not running the Smart Connect software version 5.0, I had installed the drivers from the latest NUC driver bundle and it had and older version, so I updated it using the link you gave me.
Now that I am running version 5.0 the screen has changed a bit, but I am still facing the same issue.
Above is the screenshot I have taken from version 5.0, with the same grayed out remote wake option. I have clicked on the "how to enable Remote Wake" link and it has directed me to Intel automatic driver check/update site (Intel® Driver Update Utility).
Here is the screenshot of the Intel Driver Update Utility showing me I already have the latest version of all the drivers:
So I am stuck again, because the link isn't telling me nothing besides redirecting me to that link that shows me I already have all the updated drivers.
I have also attached the generated log from version 5.0.

Please add the following registry keys:
Take the necessary precautions before and while modifying the registry. Create a registry backup and/or a restore point.
Under HKEY-LocalMachine\Software\Intel\Intel Smart Connect Technology\Always Updated
Add the following DWORD registry values (all decimal)
- DebugEnabled = 1
- LoggingEnabled = 7
- LoggingLevel = 16
Then restart the system and attach the log file again.

Please share the Intel® System Identification Utility code and/or the msinfo32 report (press Windows* key + R key, type “msinfo32”, press OK and then File, Export).
There are 2 chipset drivers available:
1. In the latest D54250WY NUC bundle there is the chipset driver version 10.0.14 from 2014-03-26
2. Outside of the bundle that version isn't available in the D54250WY download center page (Intel® Download Center), the latest one is 188.8.131.527 from 09/23/2013
I have installed in my system the bundle one (10.0.14), and I will reinstall that chipset version and the other latest drivers, unless you advise me to install 184.108.40.2067. I will reinstall the drivers and I will post the information you have requested.
The driver from the bundle should be ok. Let me know if you can attach the information from my previous post.

Any update on this issue? I have DC3217BY kit running windows 7 pro, using belkin thunderbolt express dock(F4U055) for LAN connection, as well as using intel centrino advanced-N 6235 for wireless connectivity. After having spent hours and hours, I can't get wake on lan to work either using LAN port(via belkin thunderbolt express dock) or wireless adapter. My last resort seems to be ISCT and that doesn't work because 'REMOTE WAKE' option is grayed out.
Please provide a fix as soon as possible. I luv this unit but inablity to use WoL seems to be a deal breaker for me. Pls help!!!
