Intel(r) celeron(r) cpu 900
This is the processor that we are using. this processor hasn't got the Virtualization technology. now is my question. are u still able to run a virtual machine on it? or do you really need this for the virtual machine. i just want to make sure, we prefer not to buy a new laptop even though this is pretty old.
greets!

RoyC, in order to have Virtualization on a system it is necessary that all the components support this technology.
In this case the Celeron 900 does not support VT. Additional information could be found at this URL http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/virtualization/processors-extend-virtualization-benefits.html Intel® Processors Extend Server Virtualization Benefits
