    Serial Monitor over Bluetooth?

    Paul2

      Hi Guys,

did anyone get a serial interface via BT?

Or is this not supported at the current stage?

      Thanks for your help!

          yeap:

I'm on build 68, in should work like this, I got a pairing and connection with that based on MAC authetification, BUT the connection dropped

shortly after the connection was established, no time yet to test further, but give it a try!

          systemctl enable bluetooth.service

hcitool scan (your PC must be discoverable, we do need to see the bluetooth MAC)

          Scanning ...

xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (your bluetooth MAC from PC)

          CTL+C

          bluetoothctl

          pairable on

trust xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (your bluetooth MAC from PC)

pair xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (your bluetooth MAC from PC)

          [bluetooth]# pair xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

          Attempting to pair with xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

          [CHG] Device xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx Connected: yes

          exit

          sdptool add –channel=14

          rfcomm listen /dev/rfcomm0 14

Waiting for connection on channel 14

you should be able to connect from PC via the bluetooth connection to Edison ...

How to know the channel=14 , or do we need to assume that number?
