Does bluetooth work on Edison yet?

I've been trying to figure out how to activate the bluetooth on my Edison board, without any luck. I'm not terribly familiar with the Linux bluetooth subsystem. I see that the hcitool is in the filesystem and there is an /etc/bluetooth directory with some config files. I also see a bcm_bt_lpm kernel module is loaded. What do I need to do to turn on the radio and make it discoverable? I would like to attempt A2DP connection from Edison to a bluetooth headset. Thanks!
