Intel customized Arduino IDE 1.5.3 running on a Raspberry (ARM)?

I'm currently using a Raspberry to make Arduino's sketches and I'm wondering if it's also feasible to do the same for my Galileo... Intel's Arduino IDE supports all the main OS (Windows, Mac and Linux) but I doubt that the Linux version does not run on an ARM architecture... Raspbian's packet manager actually provides an Arduino IDE compiled for ARM processors, I'd like to know if the Intel customized version can be compiled for a non x86/64 processor and run so on a Raspberry too.

I tried to download the IDE sources but when I run ant to build the IDE on my Raspberry I get an error telling that the current platform is not supported ... Am I missing something in my build process or it's a "limit" of the the current IDE customization?
