    Yocto Linux start problems

      Hi,

       

      I update to last version of Yocto Linux but with j16 and j1 supply dont start, it reboot continuously.

      With battery supply j2 it start normaly.

      If i put j13 jumper in the other position Intel Edison start whith j16 and j1 normaly.

       

      Any knows what do j13 jumper?

      How can i fix this issue?

          J13 is for thermistor input into the lipo battery charging circuit. The default position (aka thermistor is not connected) is to have pins 2 & 3 shorted together via the jumper. In which J13 jumper position does the board fail to boot?

            In default position pin 2 and 3. DS3 Led is on.

             

            In the other position it seems work well but DS3 Led is intermitent..

            In both positions j2 have 0.6 volts.

             

            I´ve checked partitions and i found this

            Boot partitions don´t seems normal. I´ve tried to flash Edison with flashall over Windows 8.1 but it seems do nothing. (all process takes about 3 seconds)

             

            Using U-boot target: edison-blank

            Now waiting for dfu device 8087:0a99

            Please plug and reboot the board

            Dfu device found

            Flashing IFWI

            Flashing U-Boot

            Flashing U-Boot Environment

            Flashing U-Boot Environment Backup

            Flashing boot partition (kernel)

            Flashing rootfs, (it can take up to 5 minutes... Please be patient)

            Rebooting

            U-boot & Kernel System Flash Success...

            Your board needs to reboot twice to complete the flashing procedure, please do n

            ot unplug it for 2 minutes.

              I've tried to flashall in Xubunto but happens the same.

               

              xubuntu@xubuntu:~/Desktop/a$ ./flashall.sh

              This takes about 2 seconds and nothing has been flashed.

                I just ran into the same quick flashing issue with my Edison on the Arduino breakout board. I'm using the same two micro-usb cables that I originally flashed the Edison with, but I'm unable to mount the Edison and flashing (via flashall.sh) runs very quickly. I've left the board sitting for 30 minutes and it is still unresponsive.

                 

                Any updates or solutions regarding how to recover the Edison to a new/default state?
