Ordered the Intel NUC kit D54250WYKH and planned to put 16Gb mem + 1Tb mSata + 250Gb SSD + WiFi N 7260 in it.
Haven't bought the screen yet, but there is a very wide 2560x1080 screen for sale in a local store. But can it handle that resolution?
Wonder whether there is a converter cable that could power the screen via the NUC's USB port, though still sending the picture through HDMI?
Hello Pvp, the highest resolution supported by this NUC is 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz when using a single monitor through HDMI.
When accessing the graphics control panel you can check for that specific resolution. If the resolution is not available in the list, you can always create one.
Please check the following URL Graphics Drivers — Custom Resolutions & Modes
In addition, these are some pictures I took from my NUC.
