Driver to allow external monitor?

Hi all,

I slummed it and bought an HP 250 G2, which runs Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

To my chagrin, it won't detect the projector I'm attempting to connect through the VGA port.

My drivers think they're current, and i've updated the BIOs.

I've got a 4-core intel pentium N3510 running at 1.99GHz on this little fella. The system's got 4GB of RAM, and I've got nothing on it yet.

I tried searching for just about everything I could think of, to no avail. The device manager doesn't detect any other monitor. What am I missing here?

I think I've provided enough information; if I haven't, I'm happy to trade information for your knowledge.

Thanks,

Pouting in Prague.

Hello bluelonesome,

I am sorry you are having this problem and thank you for the information, it is very complete indeed.

Note that this processor is a Bay Trail platform and from our side we have drivers for Windows 7 64 bit only. We recommend you installing Windows 7 64 bit and install this driver:

For Windows 7 32 Bit I would recommend you contacting the Computer Manufacture for them to provide this driver.
