High Temps on cpu i7 2600

Recenlty i discovered that my cpu runs in high temps.For example if i run google chrome and a game my cpu's temps go way higher than 72 Celcius.Is this normal?

Let me help you with this.

Please note the Operating System is constantly running different processes and services internally that an increase processor usage. Having the temperature at 72C is still under the expected temperature but if you are using just Google Chrome it would be good idea to do some troubleshooting steps.
