Thanks for joining the Intel communities.
I am sorry to hear that have had issues trying to play The Sims 4.
I would need more information in regards to your system configuration:
Operating system version?
Which version of Windows do you have? 32- or 64-bit?
Also, the exact processor model on your system:
Click the Windows icon, and then right-click Computer .
Select Properties .
Find System Type on the Properties window, and then note the processor model.
Thanks for your time.
Okay, so I have a Windows 7 Family Edition Premium,
It's a 64 bits,
The processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M350 @ 2.27GHz
I hope I gave the right answers!
And thank you for your answer!
Thanks for the information.

I am afraid I do not see The Sims 4 as compatible game for your graphics controller here: Graphics Drivers — Game Playability on Microsoft Windows Vista*
Please test the latest version and check game compatibility with EA.
It might help if you follow some recommendations for game troubleshooting:
I tried to make the update but it didn't work... It's saying that "The driver being installed has not been validated by this computer. Contact the computer manufacturer for the appropriate driver."
What do I have to do?!
Thanks for the information.
I am sorry to hear that have had problems updating Intel Graphics Driver.
That message indicates that your computer manufacturer does not allow the installation of generic Intel video drives. You are required to install drivers from your computer manufacturer; however, you may try forcing the installation of Intel generic drivers by performing manual procedure, see here for instructions:
Download the zip version of the video driver to continue with manual installation method:
I tried everything, and when I say everything, I mean it.
I think I'm just going to give up.
But thanks for your help!
Sorry to hear you still have problems updating video drivers.
At this stage, I recommend contacting your computer manufacturer to obtain customized graphics drivers.
I'm from Holland, but I had the same issue and spent about 8 to 9 hours to figure out how to get Sims 4 working on my computer. My graphics card was not strong enough to show Sims 4 I guess and I could not updat the Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver via intel their own site. Seeing the comments of ''allen_intel'' (thank you very much allen), I went to visit my manufacturers website to see if they have driver updates/downloads for my specific type of laptop. So I searched for my device in general searching and it gave a link to all the driver downloads available for my computer. There I searched for the newest version of graphic driver downloads available for my specific type of laptop (samsung np-r540-NL) and downloaded it and I was fine.
The specific download from the samsung website made for np-r540-NL was:
VGA(Graphics),INTEL (Driver) ver.184.108.40.2062 - Windows 7(64bit) (MULTI LANGUAGE, 39.79 MB)
So make sure you find your graphics driver for your specific device on the website of your computer manufacturer!
Good information, thanks for sharing your results.
