Win7 with 7260AC takes a long time before entering sleep mode

Can someone please explain why my computer wont go to sleep right away with this wifi adapter. When I disable it, computer goes to sleep right away.

I have Lenovo T420 with WIN7 64bit and 7260 HMWWB.

 

Doesn't matter which version of adapter drivers I use.

 

Also 90% of times I have to disable/enable adapter or it wont connect to network after resuming from sleep mode.

This is related to the no connection after Sleep state with the 7260 Adapter.
