Hello David, thanks a lot for posting your question at Intel communities.
Regarding StorCLI commands, I found this URL. Please check it out http://www.intelraid.com/files/IRWC2_2013.pdf
For better assistant, it will be necessary to know which Intel product you have.
Hi Sylvia. Thanks for the response and the link.
We have a Intel SRCSAS18E RAID controller.
I have tried using RWC2 - it actually working once, but usually it doesn't see the controller..
I should also make clear that the computer that hosts the SRCSAS18E is running VMware ESXi 5.0 Essentials. I access the controller via an ssh session to the ESXi host. There, using either storcli or MegaCli I can list physical and logical drives, read controller and drive status. I can clear Foreign status and make drives good. But I cannot create a RAID0 array.
RWC2 is installed on one of the VMs. I have tried connecting from the VM and from a workstation on the network.
I do have entries in the Windows hosts file pointing to the VMware host.
Further to this issue, I downloaded and installed RWC2 v14.02.01.03 on a workstation.
In Configure Host I selected "Display all of the ESXi-CIMOM servers in the network of local server."
After Saving Settings and confirming the Discovery process found our ESXi host right away. I was able to log in using the ESXi credentials and create my RAID0 arrays.
