I went through Alex's Blog on how to build the kernel an all.
"Reconfiguring Linux kernel and adding drivers into Galileo's Linux image" but my SSH /SCP is timing out, & I am not able to see any boot time logs as well.
Alex’s Blog shows the correct way to reconfigure the kernel and install the drivers, if it is not working for you maybe the problem is with previous configurations. I believe there is a newer BSP release available, maybe you can try using this newer version. Also, make sure you are configuring your SSH connection correctly. There are a series of steps you have to follow in order for SSH to run properly https://communities.intel.com/thread/46335 .
I have built the linux with eglibc support, so I doubt Arduino sketches would work. I will try getting LAN connection established through some form of linux approach, and they will try pushing the modules.
