Can't get Intel RST v220.127.116.118 email test to succeed. In fact, after running a RST with a TCP listener on TCP port 25 it doesn’t seem to do anything, although I can TELNET 127.0.0.1 25 and pass commands to a test TCP port listener.
I can’t test RST with gmail or other server as RST doesn’t support defining username and password for SMTP authentication. In fact, since it doesn't support SMTP authentication I don't understand how Intel expected small business users to use the RST email notification.
Please don’t refer me to the RST documentation on setting up RST email notifications, I am way past exhausting that.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
