    IR remote control for DN2820FY

I have installed driver for IR sensor:  ITECIR Infrared Receiver (SIO2) and Microsoft eHome Infrared  Transceiver on windows 7 64 bit .

Now I am trying to use a remote. I tried Philips Universal remote Control, It did not work.

then I use remote that came with our Sony TV, it also did not work.

The first thing that I am trying is power ON and OFF using these remotes.

I would like to know why my remotes are not working, and what all items can be navigated through the remote?

Will I get a menu just like Start=> all programs etc? Or what ?

Thanks for joining the NUC community.

I understand you are trying to use Infrared with Microsoft IR transceiver.

I also noticed you tried with an universal remote control and your TV remote control.

Are they working on same IR frequency? Normally, you will need to program them and enter remote code, that way your receiver can connect with your remote control.
