Google Summer of Code Students Help Intel's Galileo Project

In the Google Summer of Code's 2013 program, David Anders mentored several students who were working on Arduino code with Linux. One of the projects they developed was the userspace-arduino repository (https://github.com/prpplague/Userspace-Arduino), which includes expansion of the wiring language to use the existing Linux infrastructure such as sysfs entries for general-purpose I/O pins (GPIOs). This repository doesn't directly support the Quark processor but it was used, along with many other open source packages, as a starting point for Intel's Galileo software package (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23171).

We would like to acknowledge and thank Parav Nagarsheth, Anuj Deshpande, and David Anders for their work on this very valuable package.
