The BSP 1.0.2 for the Intel Galileo Board was built from the Quark BSP 1.0.1 by adding the patches specified in the instructions here: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/24000/eng/BSP-Patches-and-Build_Instructions.tar.gz . The Quark BSP 1.0.1 was not validated for the Intel Galileo Board, adding the patches included in the instructions will make a stable build for the Intel Galileo Board. You can download the Quark BSP 1.0.1 here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23197&lang=eng
Two corrections in the patches.txt.
Please update the patches.txt with the following missing info after untar meta-clanton*
The patches.txt mentions meta-clanton_v1.0.2 - Is that a typo or should I really look for _v1.0.2 directory?
This creates the meta-oe directory which has to be accessed next.
Punt if I am wrong.
Hmmm... But what is that BSP (1/2 and 2/2 zip files) for? After unzip we can see a lot of patches under /GPL_COMPLIANCE subdirectoty, what is it? How to proceed with it?
The Quark SoC BSP build guide version 1.0.2 is (a bit hidden) here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23962&lang=eng
It has documentation fixes useful for 1.0.1 as well.
