I Have an HP Envy m6 sleekbook with Windows 8 and Norton internet security. Each time I check for update from Intel update manager, I have a message that says "We are sorry, but the check for updates could not be completed. Please be sure that your system has internet access" and I am already connected. I have tried many times With the same result.
I have all updates installes from Windows update, HP support assistant and Windows store.
Are you referring to the Intel® Update Utility? If so, please know we are having some issues with this software so I recommend you going manually downloading the drivers. Here you can get the driver:
It is also important to say that the drivers we have are generic for OEM systems so it is very recommendable to install the drivers from the Computer Manufacture.
