Sometimes, the Express Utility CD does not work.
Try to download all the drivers and software directly from the website Intel board support page and install each of them manually.
All the best,
No the Intel Desktop Control Center doesn't work, it says the motherboard is not supported.
Actually, I remember to use IDCC on this board a few month ago. I still have the screenshot showing that it worked fine.
Before installing the software IDCC, update your bios version of the board, preferably use the recovery method or F7 method if present.
Then download the IDCC version IDCC.18.104.22.1688.
Note: this is still beta version.
From the link below:
After installing Intel Desktop Control Center 4.4.0, if you encounter issues that are not documented below, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and attach the following file:
C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTEL\INTEL(R) DESKTOP CONTROL CENTER\LOGS\IDCC.LOG (for 32-bit OS)
C:\PROGRAM FILES(x86)\INTEL\INTEL(R) DESKTOP CONTROL CENTER\LOGS\IDCC.LOG (for 64-bit OS)
and include a screen shot of the error message.
Please also include your BIOS version, OS version (Windows XP or Windows Vista; 32- or 64-bit), and OS language.
Hope this helps a bit. Let us know how it goes.
So I upgraded my bios but it still doesn't work and I don't have any log since it doesn't install. Really strange.
