I am sorry you are having problems installing the latest Intel® Rapid Storage Technology driver but let me help you.
Please note that I have tried the installation from my side and I was able to install it without problems. There are some recommendations I want you to know:
- Uninstall the current driver version from control panel and install the latest one. Here you have the download link:
- Test the driver provided by the Computer Manufacture. Our driver is generic for OEM systems like yours so the best option is installing their driver.
Ok, but before this release, I can install the older version of the RST (12.9) by the Intel Download Center ...
Edit : in the INF driver, it miss an ID product :
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E03&CC_0106 -> this my my id obtained by the Device Manager in Windows.
In this inf (iaAHCIC.inf), there is a device but different :
%PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E02&CC_0106.DeviceDesc% = iaStorA_inst, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E02&CC_0106
Can you add my device into the driver ?
I am afraid to say that I am not able to do this but I can help you passing the feedback to the corresponding department for future releases.
Yes, can you follow this to the developers please ?
Of course, in fact I already did. Thank you for your feedback on this.
