I'm making an educated guess that you need to reformat it in FAT32. Many Linux distros can't use NTFS.
Now I am attaching the same USB disk drive, but now formatted as FAT32, however I can not find the combination to use on the mount command
I tried mount -v -t msdos /dev/sda1 /ggg
and always get an error of no such device...
Any idea of the syntax of the command that it will work ???

Finally I was able to format an IOMEGA 320G USB disk drive using the command mkfs.ext2 /dev/sda1
and followed by mount /dev/sda1 /ggg
so I have a huge drive to store files.
Still I wonder how to do the mount with a FAT32 formatted disk drive ???
